Melissa is a one-time Attendance Awardee and thrice Most Improved nominated writer. 

She enjoys long walks on the beach and short walks to the refrigerator. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College (pronounced "Harvard"), but decided to become a well-fed, starving actor despite her amazing education. After struggling as an actress in Los Angeles for a few years, Melissa then dabbled in improv, stand-up, and sketch writing. She worked as a personal assistant, a production assistant, and a casting assistant (she assists exceptionally well) before being persuaded to try copywriting. 

Three years into successful freelance creative and production work with her company Single Threat, Melissa decided she should check herself before wrecking herself. So, she enrolled at Miami Ad School's NYC location. After leaving school, she spent some time at several agencies, and is now living the glamorous life that 90's television programs always promised her.
