MELISSA ROSEN
Melissa is a colorful freelance writer and creative who specializes in comedic storytelling and making the mundane magical. When she’s not speaking about herself in third person, she’s usually conjuring up witty one-liners or turning client briefs into intriguing campaigns. In her spare time, you’re likely to find her experimenting with hair dye, snuggling her dogs, or attempting to write a screenplay – aka watching movies and “taking mental notes.”
With a background in comedy, Melissa is known for turning “serious” briefs into memorable, humorous content. She believes every ad or post can be an opportunity to give people a giggle, or at least make them smile. Along with her knack for quick thinking, her years of casting and production experience have helped Melissa become a valuable asset on any set or shoot.
In addition to all of Melissa’s amazing skills (and humility), she is also the founder of Single Threat, a company that functions as an independent creative agency and occasional production house. Over the past few years with Single Threat, she has been able to disrupt agency norms by providing clients with exciting, unique creative and lower-budget production alternatives on varying projects and mediums.
